Currently, I serve as Director of Marketing – Spine for CarboFix, an industry leader in carbon-fiber spinal implants. In this role, I drive strategic marketing, portfolio positioning, surgeon engagement, and market adoption of advanced carbon-fiber systems across both oncologic and degenerative spine applications. My focus is on educating surgeons, building clinical awareness, and developing evidence-based strategies that highlight the unique advantages of radiolucent, high-performance carbon-fiber implants in improving imaging, enhancing surgical precision, and optimizing patient outcomes.
With over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, my background spans medical education, sales, field marketing, market development, and product management across both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. I have successfully launched and managed high-growth portfolios in laparoscopy, distal extremities, and spine — with product lines (Yukon Posterior Cervical System, CAPRI T/L VBR, CAPRI Cervical VBR, Ozark Cervical Plate, Mojave Expandable Interbody, etc.) valued up to $170M. I have also spearheaded the identification and integration of advanced technologies to create a toilet-based health screening tool, driving innovation in the medtech/digital health sector. This diverse foundation enables me to navigate complex markets and deliver scalable, research-driven strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth.
I hold a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, where I was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. My research in engaged scholarship and research-based methodologies equips me to bridge the gap between clinical innovation and market execution, ensuring CarboFix continues to lead in shaping the future of spine surgery through technologically advanced, patient-centric solutions.
